Best Overall
Laguna Tools MBAND1412-175 14 x 12 Bandsaw
Laguna
One caveat, high price for a 14-inch bandsaw.
- 14-inch wheel, 12-inch resaw height
- Ceramic blade guides
- 2 HP 1-phase motor
- Micro-adjust fence included
Pros
- Ceramic blade guides eliminate the tracking and friction issues of steel guides
- 12-inch resaw height handles boards wider than most home woodworkers need to resaw
- 2 HP motor runs without bogging under full resaw depth in hardwood
- Micro-adjust fence is precision enough for veneer slicing
Cons
- High price for a 14-inch bandsaw
- Large footprint for a small shop
