The EGO Power+ LB6504 in brief. Who it's for: the EGO LB6504 is right if: you want the highest cordless airflow in this category, value a long warranty, are building out the EGO 56V tool ecosystem, and don'.
What You Are Buying
The LB6504 is a handheld cordless blower built on EGO's 56V ARC Lithium battery platform.
The housing includes a two-stage control system: a variable-speed dial for 250 to 500 CFM everyday use, and a turbo button that jumps output to the full 650 CFM rating on demand.
Performance
Open lawn clearing: At 650 CFM turbo, the LB6504 clears a typical small to medium yard in a single fast pass.
Dry leaves and light debris scatter easily even at the lower end of the variable dial.
Wet and heavy debris: Turbo mode handles moderately wet leaves well, though the corded Toro PowerJet F700's higher 725 CFM rating still has an edge on genuinely soaked, matted piles.
Sustained turbo mode draws down the battery considerably faster, closer to 20 to 30 minutes of continuous full-power output.
What It Does Well
The 650 CFM turbo ceiling is the highest among handheld cordless blowers in this category, giving it real marg in over lighter-duty competitors when debris is heavy or a yard is large.
The 56V battery platform is a genuine long-term value if you already own, or plan to own, other EGO 56V tools.
One charger and interchangeable batteries across a mower, trimmer, or blower adds up over a season.
The 5-year tool warranty stands out clearly against the 1-year coverage typical of the Ryobi and other budget cordless blowers in this category.
What Falls Short
Weight is the clearest tradeoff.
At 6.2 lbs with the battery, it's the heaviest handheld option in this category, and that's most noticeable during extended one-handed use, such as reaching overhead for gutter work.
Unlike the Greenworks, the LB6504 is blower-only, which matters if bagging leaves on the same charge is a priority.
Price sits at the top of the mid-range.
Who Should Buy It
The EGO LB6504 is right if: you want the highest cordless airflow in this category, value a long warranty, are building out the EGO 56V tool ecosystem, and don't mind extra weight for extra power.
Consider alternatives if: you want a lighter blower for ladder work (Ryobi or Greenworks), need a vacuum function (Greenworks), or want the highest airflow available regardless of cord (Toro PowerJet F700).

Common questions
How long does the EGO LB6504 battery last on a single charge?
Up to 75 minutes at moderate, non-turbo speed with the included 5.0Ah battery. In turbo mode at full 650 CFM, expect meaningfully less, closer to 20 to 30 minutes of sustained full-power use, since turbo draws significantly more current than the variable-speed dial's lower settings.
Is the EGO LB6504 heavy?
At roughly 6.2 lbs with the battery installed, it's the heaviest handheld blower in this category's lineup. It's balanced well for a two-handed grip, but for extended one-handed use, such as gutter cleaning from a ladder, the weight is more noticeable than on the lighter Ryobi or Greenworks models.
Can the EGO LB6504 battery be used on other EGO tools?
The 56V ARC Lithium battery is compatible with more than 100 EGO Power+ outdoor tools, including mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws. This is one of the LB6504's strongest practical advantages for anyone already invested in, or considering, the EGO 56V ecosystem.
Does the EGO LB6504 come with the battery and charger included?
The standard LB6504 kit includes a 5.0Ah battery and charger. Some bundle listings pair it with other EGO tools or third-party products, so check the specific listing to confirm what's included before buying, particularly on marketplace bundle listings.
