Buying advice: car wash equipment
- 1Foam cannons attach to pressure washers for thick foam. Foam guns work with a garden hose but produce wetter foam.
- 2One bucket holds soap — the other rinses the mitt. Grit guards trap dirt at the bottom.
- 3Microfiber or chenille mitts hold suds and release dirt in the rinse bucket. Replace dropped mitts or rinse them thoroughly.
- 4Large — plush microfiber towels absorb water without dragging. Blot or pull gently instead of scrubbing.
- 5pH-neutral car soap protects wax and coatings. Wash in shade so soap doesn't dry on the paint.
